Set on a 1,700 m\u00b2 plot at Haras Larissa, the house was conceived to bring together family and friends on weekends,  holidays and longer periods of shared living. The constant presence of greenery and the condominium\u2019s abundant trees  are part of the experience of the house and guide its opening toward the outdoors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The composition begins with a rectangular volume on the upper floor, supported by a ground floor with a freer outline. The boundaries of the two floors do not always coincide: at different points, the ground floor projects beyond or recedes from the footprint of the upper volume, creating variations in depth, sheltered areas and different relationships between the house and the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The architecture brings together elements from distinct repertoires. The hipped roof, with its timber structure, cap-and channel ceramic tiles and generous eaves, recalls solutions found in Brazilian building traditions. These are combined with metal edge profiles and slatted folding screens, introducing another scale of design and precision to the fa\u00e7ade. On the ground floor, stone masonry walls reinterpret a traditional construction technique through contemporary execution and design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ground floor concentrates the living spaces. Living and dining areas, kitchen, veranda with barbecue, games room and outdoor spaces form a sequence connected to the garden, pool, spa, sauna and gazebo. On the upper floor, the nearly symmetrical plan distributes six suites around a central core. A TV room and office form the shared spaces on this floor, while the suites open toward the pool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ita\u00fanas granite runs through the interior and exterior spaces and extends to the pool and sauna. Natural wood appears  in the roof structure, ceilings, cabinetry and furniture, reinforcing the presence of materials associated with the construction of the house itself. Artwork and photographs from the family collection were incorporated into the house, establishing continuity between different moments in its history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was developed by T\u00e1vora Dainese across different scales, encompassing architecture, interiors, lighting,  landscape design, cabinetry, furniture design and the selection of furniture, objects and artwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
