Apto RIVIERA

  108m²

Located in Riviera de São Lourenço on the São Paulo coast, this 108 m² apartment was renovated for frequent use as a beach residence. The project combines the practicality required for holidays and weekends with the comfort, privacy and attention to finishes expected of a permanent home.

The main change to the floor plan takes place in the kitchen. Part of the service area was incorporated into the space, expanding it and bringing it closer to the dining room. A counter establishes the transition between the two spaces, allowing the kitchen to participate in the social area while maintaining its own organization. In the living room, large sliding panels allow the space to be isolated and, when necessary, transformed into an additional bedroom. When open, the panels retract and preserve the continuity of the social area.

The interior color palette refers to the coastal setting without resorting to thematic references. Light wood appears throughout the apartment, while brick, in a sand-like tone, adds texture to the surfaces and recalls a material present in Brazilian building traditions. Its familiarity introduces an emotional dimension to the overall composition. Blue and green appear selectively in the kitchen, textiles and objects.

The apartment thus combines the characteristics of a complete residence — privacy, comfort and quality finishes — with  the practicality required of a beach home, designed to alternate between periods of occupancy and absence and to  accommodate its residents in a simple and functional way.
