The renovation reorganizes the original 1990s floor plan through the integration of spaces and changes to circulation. In the social areas, the intervention expands the connections between the different rooms.

The kitchen and former breakfast room were brought together into a single space, expanding the area dedicated to food  preparation and everyday meals. A central island organizes the space, which also incorporates a dining table for six and  a wine cellar. Fully retractable sliding doors allow the kitchen to open onto the dining room or remain independent.

Natural wood establishes a common foundation throughout the apartment, while color appears in different intensities  from one space to another. In the kitchen, it is concentrated in the multicolored wall finish; in the social areas, it appears  in artwork, rugs, textiles, furniture and objects. Alongside the large openings, the exterior vegetation also becomes part  of the composition, reinforcing the presence of green throughout the interiors.

In the living room, horizontally oriented built-in cabinetry follows the large windows, organizing books, objects and  equipment without interrupting the view toward the vegetation. The furniture selection brings together significant pieces  of Brazilian and international design, articulated with artwork, the residents’ belongings and elements designed  specifically for the apartment.

The transformation of the floor plan and the interior design were developed as a single process, combining changes in  circulation and spatial integration with the design of the cabinetry and the composition of furniture, art, objects and color.
