Located in Paulínia, Casa Villa Lobos combines the atmosphere of a retreat with the practicality of a residence set within an urban context. The renovation focused on finishes, cabinetry, furniture and decoration, as well as the creation of a new leisure area, establishing a more integrated relationship between the interiors and the garden.

Concrete, present in the interior walls as well as in structural elements of the house, is one of the materials that defines its architecture. In the renovation, natural wood, textiles and rugs were introduced as contrasting elements, bringing warmth and balance to the interiors. Outside, the slatted timber ceiling of the veranda reinforces the relationship between materials and nature.

The winter garden gained a central role in the project, with the creation of a raised planter containing a mature jabuticaba tree. Vegetation becomes part of the experience of the interiors, creating framed views and bringing the house closer to the garden.

The leisure area was entirely designed and implemented, with a pool clad in Hijau stone, a timber deck, garden and barbecue area. The kitchen was integrated with the dining room, strengthening the connection between the living spaces and the outdoors.

On the upper floor, the project included the master suite, the daughters’ suites, office, linen closet and the couple’s walk in closet, with cabinetry and lighting solutions developed specifically for each space.
